The Kenny Smith Carolina Basketball Camp
The Kenny Smith Carolina Basketball Camp is located on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The camp is committed to the development of fundamental basketball skills. Campers learn ball handling, triple threat, post moves, rebounding, court spacing, passing, defensive keys, team offense and defense from Kenny a 10 year NBA player who won two NBA World Championship titles with the Rockets in 1994 and 1995.

Kenny Smith conducts all daily instruction, and demonstration, The camp teaches fundamental basketball skills, sportsmanship, team concepts, in the Carolina atmosphere, while emphasizing the importance of maintaining a positive attitude on and off the court, staying in school, saying no to drugs and alcohol, which translates into and an enhanced sense of self-confidence. The basis drills remain the same for all skill levels. Most of the drills and teaching techniques used at the Carolina Basketball Camps are the same ones used at UNC. Players with more abilities are given higher-level drills and ball handling moves to practice and work on. The camps are great preparation for the next level of competition.To enhance this positive learning experience the ratio of coaches to campers is approximately eight to one.
