![]() We get some good opportunities to have Tar Heel tailgates with family, friends and fellow Tar Heels! First football home game is Sept. 1st at 6:00pm. Nothing like a night game at Kenan Stadium! I prefer to go to Time-Out in Chapel Hill and buy their tailgate fare instead of preparing it myself. If you like to prepare your own then go for it! I have included a tailgate list below of items/food to consider including in your setup. Also, order your Tar Heel plates, cups etc in advance from  Johnny T-shirtTailgate Gear  and it will be delivered to your door. ![]() ![]()
![]() ![]() ![]() Some Tailgating hints and tips If you will have fellow Tar Heels on campus looking for you try tying a helium filled mylar ballon to your vehicle so they can spot you easily in a parking lot, etc . Freeze some water bottles the night before. They can help serve as your ice packs, someone always wants some water, and you won't have as many ice packs taking up space. Get a Tar Heel flag and display it ! Don't forget sunblock. Don't forget trash bags. 5ft high portable goalpostskids will love this. Found this at  Dick's ![]() ![]() |
