I started out as a TAR HEEL and that is what I will always be,
So until the day I die, I will shout “UNC”.
Whether we lose or whether we win,
A true TAR HEEL will be there through the thick and the thin.

No matter what my family and friends say or do,
They can never show me a color as pretty as that “CAROLINA BLUE”.

I believe real NORTH CAROLINA FANS would agree that I’m telling the truth,
When I say “I would rather have TAR on my HEELS, than to smell like Something called…… dook”.
